Mad Priest Coffee is a true gem in Chattanooga! Their craft coffee is exceptional, with each cup offering a rich, smooth taste and perfectly balanced roast. The simplicity of their menu makes it easy to choose exactly what you’re in the mood for without feeling overwhelmed—just great coffee, done right. The only thing I’d suggest for improvement is maybe making the coffee a little hotter, but that’s a small sip in the grand scheme of things. If you’re a coffee lover, don’t miss out on this place. It’s grounds for a great day!

I discovered this place through wedding planning. They apparently do events! Love the vibes of this place! The effort put into what they do definitely shows. The drinks change by the season and the decor and merch like stickers are so creative. They have custom coffee sleeves that are a remake of "The Creation of Adam" using a sloth. So good. I'm hoping for a sloth sticker from them one of these days! I have never had a purple coffee latte before so that was definitely different too. I also tried their lemon bar which was delicious!
Best cafe in Chattanooga! Staff are very friendly, familiar with the area and give good food and activity recommendations, the drinks are high quality, the merchandise is creative and fairly priced. The owner definitely cares about the business as they've kept in touch with the farmers of their beans, and go on trips to stay updated on coffee culture around the world. There's iced and hot coffee options, traditional and specialty drink options, and alternative milk options. Update: Went back for a second spring in a row, just as wonderful as I remember it, added photos!
5/2025 Update: I try to stop by here every year because I think it's the best cup of coffee you can get in Chattanooga. Had to get some to go beans this time (which comes with a free cup of coffee) because they are just that good. I love small locally owned coffee shops and this is one of the best ones I've been too. It smells amazing in there (like good coffee). Delicious cappuccino. Definitely going to stop by here again the next time I'm in town.
Came to Chattanooga last year, stopped by for a latte and iced coffee marked them down as a must have when in the area. Fast forward to this year I had a bag of coffee shipped to me, I must say I once again am pleased with the quality. I would enjoy a sample pack if that's something you would put together one day; nevertheless, I'll be ordering again once this bag is gone. Thank you for the attention to quality!
Coffee was absolutely amazing and the baristas were so kind and hilarious!! They had my friends and I cracking up. Great atmosphere and a good selection of coffee, t shirts and stickers! Will def be going back next time we’re in town 3
